Aaricia was 18 when she introduced herself to info-lux.com readers in August 2023. At the time she was a Miss Luxembourg contestant for Miss Belgique 2024.
She describes a journey marked by resilience and optimism. Her parents separated, and she grew up between Viville and Rachecourt.
This experience taught me to adapt and to find strength in change.

From Arlon to Brussels
She began secondary school at the Institut Sainte-Marie in Arlon, in English immersion, then finished at the Institut Notre-Dame in Arlon, in the technical qualification stream, education assistant section.
With an A2 educator's diploma and a youth-leader certificate under her belt, she worked in care homes, nurseries, a special-needs school and a secondary school. There, she says, she learned the importance of empathy and compassion.
The choice of birth
After a year of psychology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Aaricia changed course. Psychology felt too heavy a path for her, as she describes herself as very empathetic. She turned to midwifery, at the Haute École Libre de Bruxelles.
I want to bring comfort, kindness and support to women during one of life’s most magical moments: birth.

Miss: a question of confidence
For her, being a Miss is not only about outward beauty: self-confidence, values, the way you express yourself and respect matter just as much. She entered because she had always dreamed of this opportunity.
Walking the catwalk, having my make-up done, meeting new people and learning about this world leave me starry-eyed.

Her message fits in one sentence: “Let’s accept ourselves as we are and accept others with their differences.” She says she is ready to go as far as possible, and why not “bring the crown back to the Province of Luxembourg”.
