In brief. It was her mum who signed her up, and she went mainly to make friends. On 19 September 2026 in La Panne, Alessia, 19, is named second runner-up in Miss Hainaut after rehearsing in heels until midnight.

In August 2026, Alessia is 19 and is aiming for the Miss Hainaut title, one of the provincial heats of Miss Belgique 2027. She did not send in her application herself: her mum entered her.
Alessia was won over by the idea, with a simple motivation: making friends. Three of them flew the Hainaut flag that year: Alessia, Nina and Isaline Dubois.
Interviewed by Noémie Martin, an info-lux.com contributor and former contestant, she puts one value above all others: honesty, along with respect for every contestant.
If the crown goes to her, she wants to use her profile for three causes: feminism, the fight against harassment and mental health.
The night before the election, Alessia stays with a contestant from another province. While the rest of the house sleeps, she rehearses her dance and catwalk until midnight, heels on.
On the day, there are still costume changes between each appearance on stage, at a run.
Having to run in heels to get changed between each appearance on stage, and running and heels don’t mix: I nearly fell down the backstage stairs!
Alessia, September 2026
Of the physically demanding preparation, what she remembers most is the group atmosphere.
The girls were all lovely. The committee people too; there was a fairly good atmosphere, especially for the dances, mealtimes and so on.
Alessia, September 2026
The provincial heats of Miss Belgique 2027 take place on Saturday 19 September 2026 in La Panne, on the Belgian coast. For Hainaut, Isaline Dubois is crowned first runner-up and Alessia second runner-up.
I thought I was dreaming, because I really didn’t think I’d win a prize.
Alessia, September 2026
At first she wanted to make friends. When the result is announced, they are the ones she thinks of.
I was extremely excited, grateful and happy, because I knew I’d be able to continue the adventure with my friends. It was truly a moment out of time.

Her comments were gathered by Noémie Martin ten days after the evening, for the series of winners’ interviews published by info-lux.com on 29 September 2026. Next stage announced: the Miss Belgique 2027 national final.
