Alizée is 23 when info-lux.com meets her, in August 2026. A contestant for the Miss Liège title, as part of Miss Belgique 2027, she is upfront about it: her entry was a spur-of-the-moment decision.
Those around her had been encouraging her for a long time, but she never dared take the plunge. It was one evening, alone at home, that she finally went for it.
Beauty, beyond appearances
By August 2026 the adventure had already taught her one thing: beauty is not just about physical appearance. It also shows in your attitude, your personality and the way you treat others.
The words she wishes she had heard
If she becomes Miss of her province, she wants to use her profile to encourage young girls to believe in themselves, gain confidence and assert themselves, while staying true to who they are.
She wants to pass on to them the words she would have liked to hear when she was younger.
Intense weeks
The weeks leading up to the pageant are split between her job, her evening classes, her social life and rehearsals.
The preparations were quite intense (…) which inevitably meant a lot of built-up fatigue. But I was determined and I knew why I was putting so much into it, so I kept going.

On Saturday 19 September 2026, in La Panne, Alizée is crowned Miss Liège. “All that effort paid off, and that makes the win even sweeter.”
Giggles over the forgotten crown
The crowning brought a fit of giggles. Overwhelmed with emotion as she received her title from the outgoing Miss Liège, Alizée forgot… her crown.
So I left without my crown, leaving poor outgoing Miss Liège holding it in her hands after she’d tried her best to put it on my head!

She was not the only one that evening: Julia, crowned Miss Namur, also left without hers.
A message for those still hesitating
To future contestants who don’t yet dare, Alizée speaks from experience.
It’s completely normal to hesitate. I hesitated a lot myself, even after signing up! But sometimes you just have to dare to take the plunge and step out of your comfort zone.
