Alizée Sainlez was 19 in October 2019. Originally from Habay-la-Neuve, she introduced herself to info-lux.com readers as a contestant in the Miss Élégance Belgium pageant.
She loves the rural side of her “fast-growing” village: the Anlier forest, Pont d’Oye, the Mageroy site, the Marquise carnival and the grand feu bonfire.

After finishing secondary school in social sciences, human resources management felt like the natural next step. In autumn 2019, she starts her second year at the Haute École de la Province de Liège.
The “social” side of human relationships has always appealed to me and felt important, all the more so if I could make my own contribution.
Alizée, October 2019
She describes herself as “open-minded, committed and persevering”. It was this perseverance, she says, that took her to the final of the Social Sciences Olympiad in Brussels two years running, with guidance from her teacher at the Institut Sainte-Marie in Arlon.

From the very start, I grew up alongside a mother who was elegant in all circumstances.

Finding out that such a pageant existed was bound to appeal to her. She also sees it as a boost to her personal development.
This pageant feels true to who I am and sums up my personality well: a love of elegance, curiosity, ambition and a taste for challenges.
Alizée, October 2019

On her contestant card, she is semi-finalist no. 10 of Miss Élégance Belgium 2020. The final is set for 10 November 2019.
Several sponsors support her: Goffinet Energies in Houdemont, Jivé in Mont-Saint-Guibert, Jean le chocolatier in Habay-la-Neuve and the Vetedy group’s parquet flooring company in Steinfort, in the Grand Duchy.
The pageant doesn’t make her forget her studies. She also wants to sit the entrance tests for the police, “a job that has meant a lot to me since I was very young”.
And after Miss Élégance Belgium? In 2019, she is already thinking of entering Miss Luxembourg, or even Miss Belgique 2021.
I admit it would be quite a challenge for me.
