In December 2024, Anaïs Arnould Mousty is 19 and is preparing for the Miss Moselle 2025 pageant. It is her first Miss competition.
At the time she was in the second year of her training to become a specialist youth and social worker. Her placement was in a children’s residential care home (MECS), working with teenagers.

Anaïs lives in Terville, in Moselle. She grew up in Audun-le-Tiche, the town that was home to the last mine in the département to close. Moselle’s industrial history is close to her heart: her ancestors worked in the mines.
She has always lived in the département, both on the Luxembourg border and in larger towns such as Thionville and Metz, where she is studying. To newcomers to the region, she recommends Metz cathedral and railway station, the city's museums, a bike ride along the Moselle and the Hackenberg fortifications.

Her freckles and short hair give her, she says, an unusual look that can win people over. Her wish is for the public to discover new faces and to see themselves in her.
Day to day, she likes to head to work well dressed. Tailored trousers at work, chic skirts or dresses the rest of the time: she adapts her outfits to her job.
For her, a Miss should combine respect for others, a sincere smile, good manners, elegance, naturalness and self-confidence.
She barely slept the night before the casting. A video she found online helped her breathe more easily and get through the night; the rest of the time, she works off stress through sport. To young women who are hesitating, she says go for it: new people, more self-confidence and the habit of speaking in front of a large audience.

Beyond the sash, Anaïs is aiming for a post as unit manager in a children’s residential care home (MECS), working with teenagers. Her placement was a revelation: she loves watching them become independent until they leave the home, and sees every step of their progress as a victory.
Her charity project follows the same line: child protection, especially children who suffer violence at home.

On 21 December 2024, at the B’est shopping centre in Farébersviller, eleven contestants compete for the Miss Moselle 2025 crown, with Miss France 2025 in attendance. Anaïs wears number 3. Nina Damblant wins the title; Aurélia Karleskind is first runner-up and Anaïs Arnould Mousty second runner-up.

Ten months later, on 11 October 2025, she is one of the sixteen contestants in Miss Lorraine 2025, in the performance hall at Amnéville zoo, wearing number 13. The crown goes to Camille L’Étang.
