Mocked for his looks as a child, he turned that ordeal into a driving force. At 22, he champions Charleroi, his Italian roots and the Pays Noir.

Anthony Savary was 22 when info-lux.com met him in February 2026. Crowned Mister Pays de Charleroi in June 2025, he is now continuing the adventure towards Mister Région Wallonne.
He works in public safety. Originally from Dampremy, he is proud of his Carolo (Charleroi) identity and his attachment to the Pays Noir, the old coal-mining region.
Charleroi, a family story
Anthony loves Charleroi’s industrial history and the way the city keeps reinventing itself. He describes it as an authentic place, often criticised but full of values and energy. He likes the student buzz that the new university campus is bringing.
He is proud of his Italian roots: Charleroi gave his ancestors a new life. For him, wearing the Mister sash is a way of paying tribute to that family history.
Modelling titles
Anthony first made his name in modelling. He took part in Best Model for Belgium and won the title of Belgium’s Best Photo Model two years running.
In September 2025, he represents Belgium in Istanbul at Top Model of Universe and wins the title of Top Photomodel of Universe. After his win in Charleroi, he is offered a place at Mister Région Wallonne. He accepts: he loves the catwalk, pushing himself and putting on a show, and wants to help restore Charleroi’s image across Wallonia.
Sporting, Spirou and Kid Noize
A keen sportsman, he supports Sporting de Charleroi and Spirou Basket, and goes to the gym regularly. Music matters too: Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Gims and the Charleroi DJ Kid Noize.
Smiling, a perfectionist and a good listener, he likes bringing people together. For him, a Mister should be respectful, approachable and inspiring, and represent his region with elegance and humility.
Believing in herself despite the mockery
Anthony has not forgotten the bullying he went through as a child. Mocked for his looks, he turned the ordeal into a strength, with his parents’ support. His message to young people is to believe in themselves, whatever the obstacles.
The ambition: to bring the sash back to Charleroi and build a modelling career, in Belgium and abroad.
