Arnaud Megank was 23 when info-lux.com published his portrait in February 2026. From Lasne, in Walloon Brabant, he entered Mister Région Wallonne to show that an ordeal can become a springboard.

As a child, he went through difficult times. School bullying left its mark, as did the eating disorders that followed: anorexia shaped his path.
Arnaud decided not to let these ordeals define him and to turn them into motivation. Today he says he is stronger, and proud of how far he has come.

Lasne is central to his sense of identity: he describes the town as a haven of calm and authenticity. What he loves about Wallonia is the beauty of its roads, the strength of its countryside and the elegance of its châteaux.
Representing the region helps him build his self-confidence. For Arnaud, every contestant carries a share of it and deserves recognition, whether they win or not.

His career plans point towards the world of sport. He is convinced that physical activity helps build self-esteem.
He also wants to support children and teenagers facing depression or anorexia. In a few years’ time, he hopes his story will have helped move forward the fight against school bullying and mental health problems.
