In brief. Very shy at first, she signed up at the urging of her oldest friends. An occupational therapist in Lorquin, Aurélia Karleskind became first runner-up to Miss Moselle 2025 in December 2024, then joined the contestants for Miss Lorraine 2025.

Aurélia Karleskind was 24 when info-lux.com introduced her, in December 2024, as a candidate for Miss Moselle 2025. She has always lived in Lorquin, a small town in southern Moselle, not far from Sarrebourg.
After a first year of medicine, she switched to occupational therapy, which she studied for three years. She has since worked as an occupational therapist.

From Lorquin, you can see the Vosges, Alsace and the Donon. She describes a restorative village at the confluence of the two Sarres, on the edge of a large forest and surrounded by fields. Her recommendation: a walk in the Donon massif.
For her, the beauty of the Moselle is authentic: a land shaped by history that never needed to reinvent itself to be beautiful.
It was her oldest friends who pushed her to sign up. At first the idea seemed crazy to her, as she was very shy, but then she grew to enjoy it. She expected her family and friends not to understand her choice; instead, they all encouraged her.

On 13 April 2024, aged 23, she is contestant no. 10 in Miss Moselle 2024, in the shopping arcade of the Leclerc in Sarrebourg. Amélia Bur wins the title.
The Miss adventure is full of glitter and gives us wonderful weekends, but the most important thing is to remember where you come from, because it doesn't last.

As an occupational therapist, anything to do with disability and rare diseases matters to her. If she had to choose one cause, it would be Charcot’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, an incurable illness.
She has already cared for people with the disease. What drives her every day is lifting her patients up; faced with this illness, all she can do is support them as best she can towards their final moments, and that saddens her deeply.

She loves things that are beautiful and harmonious: jewellery, interior decoration and, above all, the castles and museums that tell the story of Lorraine. She describes her style as classic: she likes to dress as people did decades ago, with a pearl necklace and lace blouse, always paired with contemporary pieces.
She says she gets very stressed without feeling it: it comes out physically, her body does the talking.

On 21 December 2024, at the B’est shopping centre in Farébersviller, she is contestant no. 7 in Miss Moselle 2025. On stage, she urges the audience to believe in their dreams, to dare, and to believe that our only limits are the ones we set ourselves.
Nina Damblant is elected Miss Moselle 2025. Aurélia Karleskind is her first runner-up, ahead of Anaïs Arnould-Mousty.
In October 2025, her portrait as contestant no. 12 is among those of the sixteen Miss Lorraine 2025 contestants published by info-lux.com. The pageant takes place on 11 October at Amnéville zoo; Camille L’Étang is crowned.
I’ll tell them to give it a go, because it’s a wonderful adventure.
