Camélia Martinez has loved Miss Belgique since childhood. In February 2026, aged 26, she heads for the national final with a mix of excitement and melancholy.
After several years of commitment, this final marks both a culmination and the turning of a page. She is preparing for it seriously and with a clear head.

Camélia is proud of her Liège roots. Her accent, her humour and her warmth reflect the identity of the “Cité ardente” (Liège's nickname), and since her election many have described her as a natural ambassador for the city.
She takes on the role naturally, close to the public and attentive to every exchange. For her, representing Liège goes beyond a pageant.

Throughout her preparation, she stepped up her visibility: local events, handing out flyers, meetings in restaurants, cultural events.
The aim: to bring the Walloon public closer to Miss Belgique, a pageant sometimes seen as remote, to build connections and make people want to follow the story.
Away from the sash, Camélia has a professional career. With a master’s degree in human resources, she works in 2026 for a large firm of bailiffs in Belgium.
The experience taught her discipline, communication and how to represent others. She said she was ready to change career direction if she won the national crown.
Her story is also that of a survivor. A victim of violence in childhood, then placed with a foster family, she had to rebuild everything. Her passion for the pageant was born when she discovered Miss Belgique on television.
As patron of a shelter in Brussels, she carries a message of hope and perseverance: with support and confidence, anything is still possible.

She experiences this final surrounded by her loved ones. She sees it as the end of one chapter and an opening onto the future, whether or not she wins the crown.
