In brief. In November 2019, Christel Lambert, 39, from Bertrix, signed up for Top Women to regain her self-confidence. A semi-finalist in the 2020 edition, she wanted to give hope back to women who have lost the will to keep going.

“My name is Lambert Christel.” In November 2019, she is 39, lives in Bertrix and has worked at Aldi for almost 17 years.
She had just signed up for Top Women, the programme created by Nathalie De Reuck, which supports women of all ages and body types over several months to help them accept themselves.
I took on the Top Women challenge to regain my self-confidence and learn to feel at home in my body again.
Christel Lambert, November 2019

She is frank about what she wants from Top Women: a place where looks don't rule.
Top Women is above all a human adventure. One that helps women accept themselves as they are. No physical criteria, no judgement.

Neither too tall nor too short, too curvy nor too slim. Just the woman and her values.
Christel Lambert, November 2019

A bereavement three years earlier led her to withdraw into herself. She then went through a very difficult relationship which, she writes, made her forget “who I really was”.
By entering this competition, I am taking a step forward in rebuilding myself, and I would like to give hope back to all the women who, like me, have lost all wish to live and move forward.
Christel Lambert, November 2019
Somewhere there is always someone who believes in you and helps you move forward, stronger, despite the pain that lingers over time.

At the end of November 2019, she is a semi-finalist in Top Women 2020. To go further, she still needs two sponsors by 8 December; the semi-final is scheduled for February, in Ath.
She thanks her sponsors and everyone who supports her, and ends with four words: “Thank you for believing in me.”
