A five-hour photo shoot, then six days of graphic work and writing: that is what “Codex Feminarum Libertatis”, the codex of women's freedom, took. Photographer and graphic designer Michel Fouarge created the images; model Morgane Macel also co-wrote the texts. The series is the Module de Style II of More Followers 25, published in exclusive partnership with info-lux.com.
A common thread: choosing herself
The editorial unfolds in nine chapters, from control to alignment: Control, Withdrawn, Prioritising, The beliefs that imprison body and soul, Letting go and resilience, Sacrifice, Introspection, Inking, Aligned. The authors sum it up in one sentence: “It’s the story of a choice: choosing yourself.”
Image and text, together
Each chapter pairs a title image with a plate bearing a quotation. A few of them:
Coercive control never shouts: it whispers until it silences you.
Prioritising means you stop surviving and start existing.
Being aligned means becoming impervious to whatever doesn’t deserve you. Not unbreakable. Not immortal, just whole.
Twenty-one pages in all, published in the magazine’s order. The authors stress that their work “targets neither all women nor all men” and “passes no collective judgement”: it aims to “name” a discomfort experienced by some women “in different relationship situations”.

The series’ credits are open about how it was made: “Real photographs, digitally retouched, which may include AI-generated elements in line with transparency rules.” The credits share out the roles: images and graphic design by Michel Fouarge, model Morgane Macel, texts by Morgane Macel and Michel Fouarge.
