In October 2024, Emma Florean is 21. She is in the first year of a MEEF (teacher training) master’s to become a secondary-school PE teacher.
She lives in Marange-Silvange, in Moselle, and describes herself as down-to-earth, kind and genuine. Her ambition: to represent the people of Lorraine well and to go out and meet them.

Emma knows the Miss Lorraine pageant from the inside: from 2017 to 2019, she took part as a dancer in the show. She calls it a magical adventure, and one of her childhood dreams.
In 2024, she decides to move to the other side of the stage, as a contestant. On 9 March, she is named second runner-up at Miss Semécourt 2024, behind Ilona Parison and Émilie Barchetta. On 13 April, she also enters Miss Moselle 2024, in Sarrebourg.
She found out she had been selected for the pageant on her mother's birthday, which for her was a sign.
To show people Lorraine, she recommends Saint-Étienne Cathedral in Metz, which inspired the future regional costume designed by Wesley Forstinger, Place Stanislas in Nancy and the lake at Gérardmer.
Our region is rich in varied landscapes, including mountains and forests.

She loves the blend of old and new in the architecture of Metz and Nancy. And mirabelle plum tart, one of her guilty pleasures.

A future PE teacher, Emma wants to champion young people's access to physical, sporting and artistic activities, giving them moments of sharing away from social media. And passing on determination, pushing past their limits, confidence and team spirit.
In my region, without the Miss Lorraine adventure I would never have had the chance to go out and meet the people of Lorraine.
Emma Florean, October 2024
Though she tends to get stressed, she wants to enjoy the experience lightly and to the full, so as to have no regrets. Her biggest dream as a Miss: taking part in a Fashion Week.
I’m a very feminine woman; fashion and beauty are an integral part of my daily life. I’d describe my style as feminine and elegant, but I can also go for more streetwear and sporty looks because of my future profession.
Emma Florean, October 2024
Being a Miss is above all about being genuine, kind and attentive to others, while keeping your joie de vivre, of course!
Emma Florean, October 2024
On 12 October 2024, in the Tiger World hall at Amnéville Zoo, she heads the list of sixteen Miss Lorraine 2024 contestants as number 1. The crown goes to Assia Roosz Tomenti.
