Eva Vanoverbeke was 22 when info-lux.com published her portrait in February 2026. A childcare worker at a nursery in Mouscron, she looks after the children with gentleness and patience.
She describes her region as calm and welcoming, rich in traditions, a place where quality of life and hospitality matter.
A year wearing the sash
Before Miss Région Wallonne, Eva was crowned Miss Mouscron, then spent a busy year as Miss Jumelage 2024. The title took her to many local events, fashion shows for local shops and official meetings linked to the twinning between Mouscron and Beuvry-la-Forêt.
Invited to several venues and places around the region, she is discovering the world of pageants with enthusiasm, an experience she calls unforgettable.
The next challenge
Her application to Miss Région Wallonne grew out of encouragement from the committee when she handed over her crown in 2025. That day pushed her to take on a new challenge.
Her motivation: to represent her region with pride, but also to grow, inspire and meet new people. Representing Wallonia is an honour for her, a mission as human as it is symbolic, to showcase the authenticity, culture and values of her region.
The gym, and soon the heels
Sporty, Eva trains regularly at the gym. She dreams of trying Heels dance, which blends elegance and femininity.
A Miss, in her view, should be a positive, committed and caring role model. She encourages young people to believe in themselves, stay true to their values and see every challenge as an opportunity.
While continuing her work with children, she wants to keep entering pageants and build her future in Mouscron, the town she represents.
