Isaline Dubois was 22 when info-lux.com met her, in August 2026. A contestant for the Miss Hainaut title, she did not go through the usual Miss Belgique 2027 selection.
Her title of first runner-up to Miss Enghien earned her a Golden Ticket, qualifying her directly for the provincial pageant. She received it with a mix of surprise, joy and emotion, as recognition of her commitment.

Those close to her describe her as sunny, genuine and kind. She likes to create a positive atmosphere and to listen to others.
She describes herself as sincere, someone who values simple, honest relationships.

The greatest dream goes beyond the pageant: that every child, whatever their disability, can grow up feeling fully accepted and able to achieve their dreams.
If her participation can, in its own way, change how people see things, she feels she will already have achieved something precious: proving to these children that anything is possible.
Before taking the plunge, Isaline had doubts. “I asked myself a lot of questions,” she admits in September 2026. Looking back, she has no regrets.
I realise now that I’d have been wrong to let those doubts stop me. This adventure has helped me push past some of the limits I’d set myself and grow more confident.

Don’t wait until you feel 100% ready. Sometimes you just have to dare to take the first step.
Isaline Dubois, September 2026

On Saturday 19 September 2026, in La Panne, Isaline Dubois is named first runner-up to Miss Hainaut. She didn’t see it coming.
Honestly, I really didn't expect it (…) it was like a moment outside of time.
Isaline Dubois, September 2026
“There was so much emotion: surprise, joy, but also a lot of pride,” she says.
In the audience, the whole clan: grandparents, parents, brother and sister, her boyfriend and his family. “When I saw my family and loved ones in the audience, I really realised what I had just lived through.”

At such a stressful and important moment, knowing the people you love are there gives you incredible strength.
