Lola Saquet was 18 when info-lux.com met her in August 2026. A psychology student, she is the Province of Luxembourg’s candidate for Miss Belgique 2027.
The title she is aiming for, Miss Luxembourg, is that of the Belgian province, not the Grand Duchy. Each province first chooses its Miss and runners-up; the winners then go through to the national final.

For Lola, the Miss Belgique adventure is above all a chance to push herself, meet new people and live intense experiences. In August 2026, she said she had already learnt a great deal since signing up, and hopes to keep growing throughout the pageant.
Her inspiration does not come from any one personality. She cites all those who, despite life’s difficulties, choose kindness and give without expecting anything in return: a daily motivation to become, as she puts it, a better person.

Her psychology studies tie in with the cause closest to her heart: mental health. Lola believes everyone deserves to be listened to and supported without judgement, and wants to change attitudes on the issue.
Asking for help, in her eyes, is a sign of courage, not weakness.

On Saturday 19 September 2026, the provincial rounds take place in La Panne, on the Belgian coast. Lola Saquet is named first runner-up to Miss Luxembourg and also wins the Miss Public Luxembourg sash.
She did not face the evening alone. The previous year’s finalists supported the contestants throughout.
They backed us and stood by us throughout, and it's largely thanks to them that I could approach the pageant with far less apprehension.

The announcement of the results also moved her loved ones deeply: “The reactions were wonderful: some even cried, others were very emotional.”

Far from the sometimes competitive image of beauty pageants, Lola found solidarity, among the contestants and with the committee alike, as well as real friendships.
I honestly didn’t expect so much support.
Lola Saquet, September 2026
She plans to use her two titles to carry a message: “The world of Miss pageants isn’t just about beauty. It’s also about a great deal of mutual support, kindness and sharing.”
Today, the Misses have become a big family to me.
