In brief. A student in a literary preparatory class in Metz and a former elite gymnast, she had never taken part in a pageant. On 7 February 2026, at 19, Louna Dos Santos was elected Miss Élégance Nationale Lorraine, then made the cover of More Followers.

Louna Dos Santos had never taken part in a contest of this kind. On her first attempt, in February 2026, she walked away with the Miss Élégance Nationale Lorraine crown.
She was 19 at the time and in her second year of a literature preparatory class in Metz. Born and raised in the Grand Est, she loves her region's cultural richness and champions one idea there: unity in diversity.

Before preparatory classes came rhythmic gymnastics, which she practised at a high level for over ten years. Sport is still part of her balance. The rest belongs to the arts: literature, painting, exhibitions, opera, music, theatre.
To tell her story, she picks a TV series character, Spencer Hastings from Pretty Little Liars.
A woman who pushes herself to try to excel in every area, and who won't let herself give up or ease off until her sporting, academic, relationship or personal goals are reached.

Elegance could be defined as the meeting point of two seemingly opposite qualities: delicacy and strength. Elegance is a gentleness that leaves a strong, lasting impression.

Choosing between a career in media, art or business, she picks art.
Making art means sharing your relationship with the world through images, words and colours.

The final takes place at the Forum de Longuyon, a former cinema turned performance venue, on the theme of the 7th art. Seven finalists and five choreographed walks, one of them in wedding dresses, in front of a jury that includes designer Paula Marques, the mayor of Longuyon, Jean-Pierre Jacque, Aïsséa Esprabens-Laugé, Miss Élégance Nationale 2025, and photographer Michel Fouarge.
It is a close call. Louna Dos Santos is crowned Miss Élégance Nationale Lorraine, ahead of her runners-up Maëlys Arnould, Lou Van and Léonie Schwab.

I wanted to take part in this pageant to show young women that they can allow themselves to be confident, assertive and bold.

For her, being a Miss is not just about looks: it means being a flag-bearer and a source of inspiration, where moral qualities count as much as image.

In March 2026, she is on the cover of issue 21 of the e-magazine More Followers. The “Rêveries Couture” series, photographed by Michel Fouarge at the Centre Saint-Jean in Longuyon, shows her in red, with hair by Fabien Tulli and make-up by Alexandra Barré, in dresses by Bona Stella Fashion. The photographer describes her as “a keeper of the flame that never goes out”.
What I love most about photo shoots is meeting different artists who pool their ideas and blend their inspirations to create something unique and out of the ordinary.

Her dream photo shoot would take place in water.
I find that moving water can become an extension of a body or of hair, heightening the emotion the photo conveys.

Her plan: to get into CELSA, on the communication and art track, to work “organising cultural and artistic events across Europe”.
In 2026, I’d like to shine in the competitive exam awaiting me at the end of my second year of CPGE (preparatory classes).

In spring 2026, the Lorraine committee relaunches its call for candidates to choose her successor. The poster for the next final, scheduled for 28 November 2026 in Guénange, asks: “Who will succeed Louna?”
