A contestant for Miss Hainaut at 19, she has decided to stop fearing failure and other people's judgement, and to speak up for abandoned animals.

Nina is 19 when she enters for the Miss Hainaut title, as part of the Miss Belgique 2027 pageant. She admits it frankly: for a long time, fear made her decisions for her.
She opened up to Noémie Martin, an info-lux.com contributor and a former contestant herself, for a portrait published on 10 August 2026, ahead of the provincial heats. In Hainaut, three are in the running: Nina, Isaline Dubois and Alessia.
Stepping out of the comfort zone
Fear, and the lack of confidence that comes with it: Nina says she let them make her choices for a long time. Now she wants to stop comparing herself with others and to stop dreading failure and what people think.
Her resolution comes down to a few words: say yes to opportunities, both personal and professional. Step out of her comfort zone too, and prove to herself that she is capable of far more than she imagines.
Support that works both ways
Nina is aware of the effect other people have on her well-being. Some lift her up and encourage her; others, at times, make her doubt herself.
She finds her inspiration in the people she loves, for their style or for the values they share with her.
Animal welfare
It is the cause closest to her heart. She finds it unfair that animals, entirely dependent on humans, are victims of violence, neglect or abandonment.
The ambition: to promote responsible adoption over impulse buying, and to support the shelters and associations that protect animals.
