In brief. At 19, this communications student from Habay dreamt of journalism and television. After Miss Luxembourg and the Miss Belgique 2026 final, Noémie Martin moved to the other side of the microphone: since summer 2026, she has been interviewing the contestants who follow in her footsteps for info-lux.com.

Noémie Martin is 19 when info-lux.com meets her in February 2026. From Habay and crowned Miss Luxembourg for the Province of Luxembourg, she is about to compete in the Miss Belgique final on 21 February in La Panne.
A communications student, she has one ambition: to become a journalist. Nerves haven't got the better of her yet.
I feel good, and I’m buzzing with impatience. I’d rather live these moments to the full.
Noémie Martin, February 2026

She studies in Brussels, but it is to Habay, her home village, that she keeps coming back.
I grew up there and went to school there all the way through. I like city life, like Brussels where I study, but I love coming home to my village.
Noémie Martin, February 2026
If she became Miss Belgique, she wanted to put her province in the spotlight: its cultural and historic sites, but also its self-employed and small business owners, whom she sees as essential to society.
Dance, reading, writing, drawing, painting: Noémie is passionate about discovery and creativity. She supports women's causes, particularly in the pharmaceutical field, and has taken part in local initiatives for childhood cancer, in both Habay and Arlon, with Les Rayons de l'espoir.

Winning her title, in September 2025 at La Panne, was a lesson in self-confidence for her.
I've grown a lot, mentally and physically. I've learnt to trust myself and believe in myself, and my fear of public speaking has gone.
Noémie Martin, February 2026
Photo shoots, interviews, meeting the media: the experience is helping her come into her own and feeds her dream of working in television.
You have to keep moving forward and reach your goals. Don’t wait for others to encourage you: go for it as soon as you get the chance.
Noémie Martin, February 2026
To those who dream of following in her footsteps, she has some advice.
Go for it without overthinking, and ignore the naysayers. It’s a unique experience that will help you become the best version of yourself.

Her interest in journalism did not end with the final. In summer 2026, Noémie Martin joined info-lux.com as a contributor, following the Walloon and Brussels contestants of Miss Belgique 2027.
In August, she gathers the contestants’ thoughts, including those from her own province. After the provincial heats on 19 September 2026 in La Panne, she interviews ten winners from six provinces. info-lux.com then introduces her as a former contestant.
