Sofia Salvati is 20 when she introduces herself to info-lux.com readers in September 2022. Belgian, with roots in southern Italy, she is studying physiotherapy in Liège at the time.
Her choice of path is no accident. She puts it simply:
For me, my life is meant for helping people and caring for them.
Sofia Salvati, September 2022

She describes herself as a calm, reserved young woman, but always smiling, because she likes to make those around her happy.
I know that when I smile at someone I meet, there’s a good chance they’ll smile back.
Sofia Salvati, September 2022

Entering the contest began as a “vague idea” she shared with her mum. When the email confirming her place arrived, she admits she was very surprised.
What she hopes to gain: opening up even more to others, discovering the world of Miss Belgium and, above all, building her self-confidence and poise.
When she entered the competition, she made herself a promise: to stay herself and natural.
I’d like to show that perfection and beauty are found in each and every one of us, and that it’s important to listen to the little inner voice that drives us to move forward and improve.
Sofia Salvati, September 2022

She thanks her friends, her family, her four sponsors and everyone who follows her. And she concludes: “I will be very honoured to represent the beauty of Namur at Miss Belgium.”
