In brief. A primary-school teaching assistant descended from one of Soignies’ founding families, Timothy Legros was a Top Model International finalist in Monaco. In 2026, at 24, he represents his town at Mister Région Wallonne, with a plan: to create his own pageant.

A family that gave its name to a rampart, a pulmonary embolism that made him rethink everything, a final in Monaco: at 24, he is flying the flag for Soignies.

Timothy Legros is 24 when info-lux.com publishes his portrait in March 2026. He is a contestant for Mister Région Wallonne and represents Soignies, the town where he grew up.
He works as a teaching assistant at a primary school in Familleureux. A nature lover since childhood, he has recently taken up modelling and photography.

For him, local history runs in the family. The Legros are one of the founding families of Soignies. Some of his ancestors were sculptors, and their work can still be seen in the old cemetery.
One of the town's streets is even named Rempart Legros: the old rampart where many members of his family lived. This heritage fuels his pride. People often talk about Mons or Charleroi; Timothy wants Soignies to be in the spotlight too.

Before Mister Région Wallonne, he tried his luck at Top Model International. Starting out among more than a thousand candidates, he made it through the selections, the quarter-finals and then the semi-finals, finishing among the twenty finalists in Monaco.
He does not win the title, but he is the audience favourite. The adventure also earns him a photo shoot in the Caribbean with the Top Model Belgium winners.

His motivation also comes from his own story. Three years before this portrait, Timothy suffered a pulmonary embolism. The ordeal made him ask himself what mark he would leave behind.
Since then, he has decided to make history in his own way, like his ancestors, by living his passion to the full.

At Mister Région Wallonne, he wants to gain confidence and inner strength. The pageant should also help him carry out a project: creating his own top model competition, to give everyone the chance to walk the runway, express themselves and become a champion.
He describes himself as generous, a perfectionist and energetic. For him, a Mister should inspire future generations: elegant, charismatic, a role model, someone people can rely on. He does not claim to deserve the title more than anyone else, but says he is ready to take it on sincerely.
